About Me
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, SD.
Previously, I was a Junior Fellow in the Rice Academy of Fellows at Rice University
in Houston, TX. At Rice, I was hosted by César Uribe. Before going to Rice, I was a postdoctoral scholar working with Henrik Sandberg and Karl Henrik Johansson
in the Division of Decision and Control Systems at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
I received my Ph.D. in Automatic Control from Université Grenoble Alpes in 2018, under the joint supervision of Alain Kibangou and Federica Garin. Prior to that, I received an MS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2013.
Research Interests
My research develops mathematical theory for networked dynamical systems, with applications spanning mathematical epidemiology, infrastructure networks, collective behavior, and cyber-physical systems. My work draws on dynamical systems, control theory, network science, and mathematical modelling.
Applications
Public health
Spread of rumors/opinions in social networks
Collective Intelligence
Product adoption in (online) marketplaces
Resilient operation of infrastructure networks
